Hen Parties
Come and spend the morning or afternoon at The Makery for your hen party. Perhaps you fancy a nipple tassel making workshop!? Or how about jewellery, bath bombs, fascinators or garters! For a real giggle, come for a life-drawing class! Or you could make your own gorgeous beauty products!
Children’s Parties
We love hosting children’s Birthday parties at The Makery; almost as much as children love attending them! From monster-making to fashion accessories, there’s something for everyone.
Corporate
Our inspirational workspace is available to hire for your brainstorms and meetings. We can lay on food and drink to help get the creative juices flowing! Or how about a team-building workshop with a difference? From knitting, to painting or ceramics, it’ll certainly be more memorable than the usual choice team-building activity. Groups of 8 or more.
Baby Shower
Invite family and friends to create a beautiful keepsake baby’s quilt. You’ll each create a decorated fabric square using applique, embroidery or beading. Leave the squares with us, and we’ll turn them into a handmade quilt for your baby to enjoy. A completely unique and personal treasure. We can provide afternoon tea if you’d like a real treat to remember. Groups of 8 or more.
Frock Swap & Customising Party
A chance to refresh your wardrobe, learn some simple tricks to customise your clothes and enjoy an evening of fashion chit-chat with friends! Bring along any clothes, accessories or handbags that are languishing in the back of your wardrobe (we’d recommend each person try to bring a minimum of 3 quality items). We’ll pool everything, and you can rifle through in search of new gems for your wardrobe! And if you find something that’s not quite right, we can teach you how to make it into a much-coveted one-off, with a range of customising techniques! Any left over items can be taken back home or we will donate them to charity (unless we can find a good new use for them at The Makery!)
